2008 sure flies.. i mean literally fly pass me.. it's already July / more than half the yr / only 2 more months to my bdae / older by 1 more yr.. -_-"

and what have i accomplished for this yr?? http://www.singaporeswimming.com/

- still stuck in NUS doing temp but hopefully can convert to full time..
- still having two minds on whether to study or not...
- still waiting for that bloody result for my swimming coach to come..
- just attended the chalet organised by me and my buddies of more than 10yrs (possibly the last)
- still nothing to my name except for some petty cash?
- still looking back and wonder what i would have done differently...

I do not want to live my life with so much regrets.. I want to take control of my life!

Looking back

and yes.. I am back.. after more than a year's break from this blog.. unexpectedly, there are still a few souls who visit my blog now and then.. haha..

mm.. over this yr.. alot things had happened.. below are just the highlights or rather wat i can recall..
http://www.swimminglessons.com.sg
- Took out all my wisdom tooth. *Courtesy of SAF ;)*

- Repair my gone case-right shoulder.. Can you believe it that it 'pop' out like 5 times in 6 months before my op?? Hopefully it will be a thing of the past since it's been holding up well after the op.

- Got back my pink IC and say bye bye to my home for the past 1 and half yr at Yew Tee. I sure miss the days over there. Yes it's mundane stuff over there but at least there's a sence of familiarity. I felt so lost after ORD especially I am basically rotting at home after ORD to recover from my op.

- Started working temp at NUS designing website and some design stuff. * Still at NUS but at another dept.*

- Retook my lifesaving cert and pass it without taking the test.. basically i paid $150 and voila.. i am certified passed.. lol!!!

- Took my skills test for swimming coach. FINALLY passed.. I cried when i heard the results.. such is my feelings.. I am so relived.. so happy.. It's something I spent years and quite a sum of money on it.. and so, currently attending the course for the coaching course. YES.. pass a test before u are admitted to the course. such is the popularity of the course.. there are like 90 ppl fighting for 40 slots.. i have to admit i am very lucky... very very lucky.. and now, the test for it will be next wk..

that's roughly all.. gonna quit the temp at NUS.. need a full time job soon.. and fast..

so ppl.. who are reading my blog, pls send me your luck that i can pass the test.. and also, got any job to intro, must remember me hor.. ;)

joke of the day...

Well, i came across this joke while surfing some joke forum quite sometime back..

==========================================================
If someone actually asks you this question "Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic (absords heat)?" what would you answer?? The question was actually given on a University of Washington chemistry mid-term. The answer by one student was given as follows:

First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So we need to know the rate at which souls are moving into Hell and the rate at which they are leaving. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave.

Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for how many souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Most of these religions state that if you are not a member of the religion, you will go to Hell. Since there is more than one of the religions and since people do not belong to more than 1 religion, we can project that all souls go to Hell. With the birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls to in Hell to increase exponentially. Now look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume of Hell has to expand propotionately as souls are added.

This gives two possibilities:
1. If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate souls are entering Hell, then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase till all Hell breaks loose.

2 If Hell is expanding at a faster rate than the increase of souls in Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop till Hell freezes over.

So which is it??

If we accept the postulate given to me by Theresa during my Freshman year that, "It will be a cold day in Hell before i slp with you," and take into account the fact that i slept with her last night, then the number two must be true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic and has already frozen over..

The student damn zai sia... write all this bullshit and, still it makes sense in some way.. hahaha
